If you’re in Paris and you want to get a stunning view over the rooftops and iconic landmarks, one of the best places to go is Printemps Department Store, Boulevard Haussmann, right in the heart of the city.

The famous store which opened in November 1865 and has been going strong ever since, has several restaurants but it’s the one of the 9th floor where you can really capture awesome views with ease.

Just take the elevator to the top floor and, as you step out onto the 360° view rooftop terrace of café Déli-cieux you will feel that you are in the beating heart of Paris. To one side is the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Pantheon and to the other the stunning white architecture of the Sacré-Coeur and around it, Montmartre. Iin between you’ll see endless rows of iconic Paris roof tops.

Where ever you point your camera the view is breath-taking, the atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil with lots of potted plants around. Grab a coffee, glass of wine or a meal in this self-serve restaurant and simply enjoy the sights.

How to get there: Métro Havre Caumartin/Chaussée d’Antin La Fayette Website for  details of opening times: Printemps
