Proposals and Engagements

Whether you’re planning to pop the big question to the love of your life or you want to recreate your engagement memories or even to propose – Paris the city of love is the perfect place for that all important moment, and of course, you’ll want fabulous photos to capture it to keep for ever.

Photographer Gary loves to help make this memorable time a truly brilliant occasion for you. He can suggest the right location and time as he knows Paris and France well, but his involvement goes much further. One couple wanted to re-live their proposal which took place up a mountain in a snow storm, but it was July and sunny on the day of the photo-shoot! Gary bought a snow machine along to the session and voila – summer snow and memories caught on camera, and the couple were able to share a truly special day with their family and friends.

You should expect your photo session to last up to 2 hours and to receive around 100 photos which are delivered within a week.

Wedding Day in France

It’s the big day, you may be in Paris or Provence or elsewhere in France, perhaps especially for your wedding, perhaps to celebrate after the event – you’ll definitely want to have this most important date captured for posterity.

Before you meet Gary, it will be a priority for him to find out more about you, get to know your personality and what’s important to you, making sure he is aware that the photos you want, are the photos you get. Meeting by phone or Skype, Gary can help you pick the right spot, the best time (early mornings when the light is soft and places feel sleepy is always great) and help you to create amazing photographs and memories.  “Just outside Versailles there are some really stunning and romantic places as well as all the classic spots in Paris such as the iconic steps at Sacre Coeur and of course the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre” says Gary.

The photos are sent to you in a digital format, generally there are around 500 from the big day. You can also opt for a hand-made storybook photo album of the special day with about 100 photos, telling the story of your wedding and with pockets for keepsakes; or perhaps a framed vinyl album of your first dance.
