This fabulous ladies-only tour takes in the most magnificent gardens in France, from Claude Monet’s glorious masterpiece in Giverny to Great Dixter in Kent and many more besides.

On this once in a life time tour, you’ll be pampered along your journey with exquisite accommodation and wonderful food and wines. You’ll get access to the most beautiful gardens and meet expert florists and head gardeners.

Your journey starts in Paris with a private visit to a secret chateau built for Louis XVI’s brother that’s closed to the public… and ends in London with an option to visit Chelsea Flower Show.

Paris and Monet’s garden are on your tour…

You’ll be accompanied throughout your tour by your host, American writer and Francophile Doni Belau. This is a VIP adventure which takes in some of the most magical gardens in the world.

On the French leg of this amazing tour you’ll meet with the head florist of the American Ambassador to France, meet a rose expert at the Bagatelle botanic gardens and visit a secret chateau where parties were held during Marie Antoinette’s reign. It’s not open to the public, so this is a truly special treat! You’ll also join a masterclass floral workshop explore Montmartre and enjoy an aperitif in Ernest Hemingway’s favourite haunt.

No garden tour of France is complete without a visit to the artist Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny in Normandy. It is one of the most exquisite gardens in the world and on this private tour you’ll get to see it in in all its glory, filled with colour, just as the artist intended. It really is like stepping into one of his paintings…

The most beautiful of England’s gardens

Your gorgeous gardens tour takes you via a quick train journey to the heart of Kent, the garden of England. You’ll visit the most iconic English gardens: Great Dixter where the head gardener will guide you on your visit and Sissinghurst, former home of Vita Sackville-West. Wakehurst place, famous for its Millennium Seed Bank, vineyards (yes they do have them in England!), the ancient town of Battle, site of  The Battle Of Hastings which resulted in England being ruled by the French, and much more are on your agenda.

But don’t worry, there’s no rushing on this tour. This is a small group, bespoke tour where everything is designed to be enjoyed at leisure.

You’ll visit historic villages and enjoy a traditional pub lunch in a 15th century inn. Cream teas, floral theme cocktails (prepared by your host Doni, a cocktail expert) and Michelin starred food – this is quintessential olde England at its best.

You’ll stay in a private castle, a very special invitation to Fairlight Hall, where you’ll enjoy a private dinner and tour of the art collection. There will also be a concert in the conservatory and  a private tour of the award winning walled garden and amphitheater. This is a truly unique element of the tour and very VIP.
