Ferry good deals from DFDS UK/France routes for National Ferry Fortnight

Written by on May 15, 2017 in News

Forget stuffy airport lounges and passport security queues  and go by boat.

Until 20 May 2017 DFDS have some great offers on the Dover/Calais and Dover Dunkerque routes with 54 daily sailings from Dover to Calais (90 mins) and Dover to Dunkirk (2hrs).

Whether booking a city break, a family trip, a cycling tour, or camping holiday, travelling by ferry is quick and stress free, ideal for those looking to travel to France, Holland, Belgium or further afield.

DFDS’ National Ferry Fortnight deals include:

  • Book with a car and up to nine passengers on Dover-Dunkirk or Dover-Calais and receive a £20 meal voucher to use in the on board restaurant during the outbound crossing
  • National Ferry Fortnight deals can be booked until 20 May for travel with DFDS throughout 2017

All ships on DFDS’ Dover-Calais and Dover-Dunkirk routes feature a choice of lounge and bar areas; the self-service 7seas restaurant offering hot and cold meals (my favourite fish and chips), snacks and drinks; a shop with up to 20 per cent off high-street prices on fragrances, skin care, and cosmetics, plus a range of travel essentials and duty-paid goods; and a Kidz Club children’s play area that provides entertainment and activities for children during the holiday period. And, if you want to work in peace and quiet and enjoy a bit of luxury head to the Premium lounge, it’ll cost a little extra but for the comfort, beverages, nibbles, fruit and free newspapers – sometimes it’s good to treat yourself!
