Plus you’ll visit her private apartments at the sumptuous Palace of Versailles and discover her famous hamlet. And you’ll trace her final fateful steps in the city of light.

And all of this will be accompanied by stays in elegant hotels in Paris and Versailles. It includes the world famous historic Trianon Palace with its views over the Parc de Versailles. Imagine waking up and throwing open the windows to spy the stunning views before chilling out in the gorgeous Guerlain spa… bliss. And yes, it is included in the tour. It really is that special.

You’ll start this trip of a lifetime in Paris where you’ll stay in the heart of the historic Marais district. Your home will be a truly beautiful boutique hotel which honours the memory of  the Empress Josephine Bonaparte. It’s an area that’s full of private mansions, museums and trendy shops. It’s also home to the Place des Vosges, famous for it’s old-world atmosphere.

Champagne tastings, charming cafés and celebrated restaurants with views you will never forget, await you. Nibble on macarons at fashionable Ladurée, and dine at coveted restaurants that will make you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.

There’s also the chance for shopping at Paris’s most wonderful and outrageously beautiful stores, including a chocolatier and famous perfumier.

You’ll take a tour with the florist for the American Embassy in Paris of the rose gardens which Marie-Antoinette adored. You will also be given exclusive access to the park’s chateau which is not normally open to the public. And you’ll visit spectacular museums which specialise in decorative arts and furniture of Marie-Antoinette’s day.

Just an hour away from Paris lies Versailles. Here the queen lived with her husband Louis XVI in a monumental gilded palace which dazzled the world when it was created. It continues to do so to this day. No photo does justice to the real thing – it really is an awesome building.

Now here you really will be treated like royalty. Dine at Chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. Stay in a historic Versailles building. And walk in the footsteps of the queen through her former home. Wander the Hall of Mirrors, discover the hamlet where the queen kept animals and dressed as a shepherdess. Visit a perfume museum famous for recreating Marie-Antoinette’s perfume. Their boutique is fabulous for memorable souvenirs.

Indulge your inner foodie at 3 Michelin Star Chef Alain Ducasse’s restaurant. Normally it’s open for lunch only, but you’ll exclusively be dining there in the evening, just as twilight settles over the glorious gardens of Versailles. And, on your final evening you’ll be treated to a magical fireworks display at Versailles – what an incredible send-off.

This really is a one-off, unique and utterly fabulous tour. It will take you to the heart of historic Paris and legendary Versailles.
