If you go to Avignon and you’re looking for a lovely B&B then look no further. Au Coeur d’Avignon (which translates as in the Heart of Avignon), is tucked down a tranquil side street but just a couple of minutes’ walk from the famous Palais des Papes.
If you love luxurious rooms and a lovely friendly on-site owner who is happy to share the best restaurants in town with you – then Au Coeur dAvignon is going to make you very happy. Avignon is a fabulous foodie town to visit with lots of brilliant restaurants, but it’s always good to know the ones the people who live there love best (10 restaurants in Avignon the locals love)
This large 19th century mansion style house has been exquisitely restored and renovated spacious rooms as well as furnished apartments. Add to the already impressive list of pluses the fact that there’s a gorgeous courtyard where you can laze in the sun listening to the trickling fountain. And a stunning kitchen that guests can use. And they do one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in the spectacular sunny glass dining room. I have to tell you, I didn’t want to leave!
