Nothing to declare…

CC Flickr HonestReporting.com It could happen to anyone.  You’re a bodyguard, protecting the President of France and you’ve been called to duty in Brazil. You join your comrades on the Presidential flight, alight at Rio de Janeiro airport and go through the private exit doors to claim your guns to allow you to protect your boss.  But what is this?  “Do you have the guns?” you ask your buddies?  “Do you have the guns?” you ask everyone who was on the plane?  You all traipse back to the plane to look under seats and in the lockers – no guns.

This is what happened recently to the French protection squad for President Hollande, unfortunately someone forgot to pick the guns up and left them behind at the Elysée Palace leaving the protection squad (not) Armed and (not) Dangerous – as Inspector Clouseau once said “Yes, well, life is not all shoot shoot bang bang you know”.
