I love Christmas in France but sometimes it can be tricky to find all the information I want about wonderful Christmas markets and things to do, I end up having to look all over the internet to get details – and I suspect you might find the same problem.
So, I thought this year I would put all of the information I have gathered from friends and contacts in tourist offices around France into one place…. dates and details for when the lights go on in Paris and the city’s best markets, window displays and things to do; what’s on in Alsace and Strasbourg “the Capital of Christmas”, plus the best day trip markets for those from the UK, festivals and Champagne Christmas markets, and a few other things and…
…Then I thought, I wonder if some great chefs would share with us some of their favourite Christmas dishes – and guess what? Raymond Blanc, Michel Roux Jr, Rachel Khoo and Paola Westbeek (The Good Life France’s very own Queen of French Cuisine) were all happy to send in a recipe…
… And I then decided it would be fun to include some fun French festive facts…
… Gorgeous photos of France at Christmas from some of my favourite French Photographers…
… And all together it became a whole magazine!
