Main Square Music Festival Arras

The Main Square music Festival Arras: relatively new to the music festival scene but growing rapidly in popularity thanks not only to the international artists that play here and easy access to the venue (just 1500m from the station) but also a great atmosphere.

The concerts take place in the Vauban designed citadel of Arras and the World Heritage classified site welcomes music lovers. There are good food stalls of varied styles and drinks areas including a champagne and wine bar.  The music festival takes place in the centre of a big park and offers reasonably priced camping facilities to people attending the festival which will take place over the first weekend of every July.  You can also book hotels in the city of Arras and at nearby Lille which is just 20 minutes away by shuttle bus, driving from Calais takes just over an hour and you can also get a train to Arras from Calais train station.

Recent acts included The Chemical Brothers,  Limp Bizkit, Moby, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies and Coldplay and the event which has been going for 8 years offers the best in contemporary music, mixing upcoming artists with leading international artists every year.
