Hollywood actor Brad Pitt will be the new face of Chanel No.5 – one of the most iconic and well-known perfumes in the world.
Chanel No. 5 was the first perfume launched by Parisian couturier Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in 1922 and it has been beloved of women (and men) the world over ever since. Legends such as Marilyn Monroe have further enhanced the standing of the famous perfume when she was interviewed about what she wore in bed “Five drops of Chanel No.5” came the reply – creating a whole new raft of fans.
Brad Pitt joins an illustrious list of film stars who have represented Chanel No.5 though we can’t remember it ever being a man before. Nicole Kidman, Catherine Deneuve, Audrey Tatou and Keira Knightley have all fronted Chanel No.5 campaigns.
Considered one of the hottest celebrities and often called the most handsome man on the planet in the media, Pitt is to marry his long term partner Angelina Jolie in a ceremony rumoured to be held this summer at their French chateau in Provence.
