Everything You Want to Know About France and More...

The best magazine about France from France newsletter!

opal coast june

Bonjour from the gorgeous Opal Coast in northern France!

As you know I love to travel around France and tell you all about my discoveries but there’s no place like home and here in Pas de Calais where I live is very beautiful at any time of year but never more so than when the sun shines. Tonight is the opening weekend of the Midsummer Festival at the Chateau de Hardelot on the Opal Coast and there will be cocktails in the cellars and a musical concert in the gardens. Normally on a Saturday evening in the summer you’ll find me cleaning out the chicken coops so this is a real treat for me!

Here at The Good Life France it has just been getting busier and busier and I am hugely thankful to you all for being a part of making us the best magazine about France from France. I really can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support and the great comments that you leave on Facebook…  Thank you for sharing The Good Life France with all your friends  – we’re working hard to bring you the great features and photos you love from France so that you carry on liking and sharing what we do!

Last week I was in the lovely Loire Valley and I can’t wait to tell you all about it next week – I took hundreds of photographs as it is so beautiful and I have lots of tips and recommendations to share with you.

For now though, I am off to clean the chickens beds and duck ponds!

Wishing you all a bon weekend where ever you are,
Bisous from France
Janine
