Arrests at Cambridge University as DSK arrives for debate

Cambridge, England – two demonstrators were arrested at Cambridge University when Dominique Strauss-Kahn arrived to address the UK’s famous university debating society.

The demonstration occurred outside the Cambridge Union Society as DSK, the former head of the IMF arrived.  He had been invited it is said due to his “former economic position and alleged criminal notoriety”.  However many found this insufficient justification for inviting a man who was accused of sexually assaulting a maid in New York and who has been in the news for his swinging sex party antics as misuse of company funds are investigated in France.

A student who attended the debate which went ahead despite security worries said that DSK did not dwell on his lurid lifestyle but spoke mostly of economic matters.
